TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Types of Vehicles – The vehicles to be used are new model 4WDToyota Land Cruisers to the Omo Valley and different types of buses to other parts according to the number of people in the group and the places of visits.

Domestic Flights – All domestic flights will be handled by Ethiopian Airlines that has an excellent network through out the country on its regular flights.

Hotels – The hotels to be used are of very good quality of services as mentioned on each itinerary. But this can only be practical upon availability as prior bookings have to be made.

Camping – Camping will be made on selected camping sites according to the itinerary. Camping materials like tent, sleeping mattress, tables, chairs, camping light, etc. will be supplied.

Meals – meals will be served in hotels and selected restaurants According to the itinerary. While camping, we will be providing a professional cook who will cook the food to all the members of the group at camping sites. All cooking and serving utensils will also be provided.

Guiding – guiding services will be given by our professional and experienced tour guides with the language medium to be English. However, Spanish, Italian, French, German, Russian and Arabic speaking guides can be assigned upon request with additional payment provided that the majority of the group speaks that language.

Bookings - Contracts and agreements will be valid consequent to African Adventure Tour’s confirmation of the booking by fax, e-mail, letter or telephone. At the time of confirmation, a deposit of 25% of the total cost is requested. The remaining amount of the total cost shall be paid 30 days before the commencement of the tour. Unless prior arrangements have been made, African Adventure Tours is not indebted to conduct the tour if complete payment has not been received.

Itineraries: - Only selected itineraries are arranged here, however, numerous types of tours that suit the traveler’s convenience can be organized. Combined tours can also be arranged on request

Prices: - African Adventure Tour’s tour prices can be provided upon request.

Payment - All payments have to be done by a bank transfer to African Adventure Tour’s account in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The bank details will be provided by email or fax upon the confirmation of the trip.

Cancellations - Abolition of confirmed bookings received more than 30 days prior to departure are subject to a cancellation fee of Euro 50 per person. Cancellation received between 30 and 15 days prior to departure will be subject to a penalty of 50% of the total rate of the tour. Cancellations received less than 15 days prior to departure will be subject to relinquishment of the entire tour rate. African Adventure Tours strongly recommends trip cancellation insurance.

Responsibility and Liability

African Adventure Tours and its agents act as agents of the client related to hotel Accommodation, sight seeing, tours and transports whether by aircraft, coach, boat, etc and shall not be liable for loss or damage caused by delays, sicknesses, injury or death, except when the passenger is being carried in AAT vehicle.
African Adventure Tours reserves the right to employ subcontractors to carry out all or part of the services agreed to be given and in the event of exercise of such right, the term given above on number 1 related to AAT liability shall apply.
African Adventure Tours will use its best efforts to assist as an agent to its clients in dealing with third parties such as hotels, airlines and other transport companies and travel agents. However, it can not be held responsible for any loss or damage of baggage, photographic equipments, electronic equipments or other personal belongings caused by the third party.
