ItinerariesDay 1: Arrive at Addis Ababa
Full Day Sight seeing tour in Addis Ababa; On arrival in Addis Ababa you will be met by our representatives and transferred to Ghion Hotel. In the afternoon we will take you on a city tour of Addis Ababa Return to hotel after the city tour. O/n Ghion Hotel.
Day 2: Fly to Axum
After breakfast fly to Axum. After we checked in to Remehay Hotel we will visit these historical sites of Axum. Tonight we stay at the comfortable Remehay Hotel that opened in 1993.
Day 3: Lalibela
After breakfast we fly to Lalibela. Lalibela is a 'World Heritage Site' Today we visit the first group of six churches lie in rock cradles one behind the other. O/n Jerusalem Gust House.
Day 4: Lalibela
Whole day attend Timket festival. O/n Jerusalem Gust House.
Day 5: Lalibela
After breakfast drive to Nakuto Le’Abe Monastery. King Nakuto Le’Abe addicted his throne in 1270 AD and went to a cave to lead a hermit’s life. This cave has ever since become a monastery and has a dramating setting. It houses one of the most interesting collections of ancient crosses, illuminated manuscripts and other icons some of which are attributed to its founder Nakuto Le’Abe. Or visit Yemrehane Kerstos In the afternoon, visit of the other groups of Rock churches of Lalibela Overnight Jerusalem hotel
Day 6: Fly Gondar
After early breakfast check into the airport for your flight to Gondar and rive 17 kms to to check in to Goha Hotel. After refreshment sight seeing tour of Gondar, known as the 'Camelot' of Africa. O/n Goha Hotel. .
Day 7: Gondar
Several notable Gondarine structures - the 'Bath of the King' and the 'Debre Birhan Selassie' can be seen. Tonight we spend the night at Goha Hotel. The hotel stands on a hill with a commanding view of the city and spectacular views of the mountains and the distant Lake Tana. O/n Goha Hotel.
Day 8: Boat trip on Lake Tana to Bahir Dar
After breakfast this morning we take a scenic drive 60 kms to the little town of Gorgora by a good condition of coaster bus then we take a boat cruise on the beautiful highland lake - Lake Tana to Bahir Dar town. Bahir Dar is a small town on the southern shore of Lake Tana, the source of the Blue Nile and the largest lake in Ethiopia. On the Lake are thirty-seven Islands; thirty of them have Churches and Monasteries of considerable historical and cultural interest. We visit the monastery church of Debre Sina Mariam at Gorgora Peninsula, Dek Estifanos on Dek island , Azwa Mariam at Zege Peninsula and Ura Kidanemheret at Zege Peninsula. Under the thatched roof of the monastery are some distinctive colorful frescoes of religious scenes, and an impressive display of illuminated bibles written in Geez. Geez is the religious language from which Amharic is derived. O/n Tana Hotel
Day 9: Bahr Dar
We pay a visit to the impressive Blue Nile Falls, Afternoon fly to Addis Ababa. O/N- Ghion Hotel
Day 10: Fly Addis Ababa;j
After breakfast catch the next flight to Dire Dawa, the second largest city of Ethiopia. After arrivel at Drire Dawa drive straight 55 kms to the Walled city of Harar. Overnight Belayneh hotel
Day 11:
After breakfast you visit the colorful Muslim and Christian markets (known for basketry), the museum, and the traditional Hararie houses situated within the famous walled city. In the evening visit the hyena man while he feeds the hungry hyenas (wonderful experience). Overnight Belayneh hotel
Day 12: Day 12, Fly Back to Addis;
After breakfast drive to Dire Dawa where you will have a short stay then transfer to the airport and fly to Addis Ababa. En route stop at the town of Awaday to see the biggest “Chat market in the country”. “Chat” a stimulant leaf where people chew to be exited, Upon arrival transfer to Hilton hotel , the rest of the day shopping: in the evening a fare well dinner party in one of the traditional Ethiopian Restaurants with the dancing from the different ethnic groups.
Day 13: Departure;
After breakfast transfer to the Airport for Departure.
